PSP vs. iPod vs. Cell phones

Come on, the Video iPod is coll n'all but it is so small.... even porn will struggle on this format. Can you imagine watching Paris hilton on a 2x11/2 screen vs. the big beatiful screen of the PSP... no competition (well if you actually wanted to watch Paris - who the hell would)

Soon as Sony get there act together and integrate a hard-drive (next yr), standard removable memory, an iTune's killer (Fire in the UK) and upgraded wireless than this $250 gadget will leave everything in is wake.

I have all 3, we use them in our company lab at Podloco, the PSP is so much better and I am sick iTunes anyway.

Pentagon-Pudpushers

So the Pentagon wants to podcast - without being too trite when have we ever heard a civil cervent be brief.

Does this mean long podcasts explining policy that has little association with brevity and the ADD nation.

What would be great is that they promised to explain policies in no more than 90 seconds. Not that we discount the detail but all we want is the summary version.

What chance that?, FAT chance

The Pentagon is podcasting. The Pentagon Channel has added podcasting as a means of distributing the channel's military news and information targeted to the men and women in uniform.

"We are excited about leveraging technology that allows for more programming choices for our men and women in uniform," said Allison Barber, deputy assistant secretary of defense for public affairs. "Harnessing this new technology enhances our goal at the Pentagon Channel to communicate relevant, timely and credible military news and information to the men and women of the military."

does anyone understan the Proposition #XY

wouldn't be a smart idea that when a new proposition in the state of CA comes out that each of the sides releases a podcast explaining their views.

none of the propositions are clear and for the uneducated it must seem like fiction, how then can we possibly vote on something that itself can not be summarized so that we can all understand.

Use podcasts for crying out loud at least I would listen to the explanation rather than read a 72 page document

Why is iTunes so bad at RSS navigation

Dumb question I surpose, but it really stinks when your adhoc looking for feeds and podcasts

what is needed is the uber open source client from our flock brothers to unify the whole dam process.

Come on there has to be people with ideas to make this better... and I dont want to use ipodder either.

Think I will get my guy's to hook up to skype and get this to produce content and publish.

Thoughts?

mozzilla muster to podcastings cause

firefox initiative for podcasting tool

if browsers where dominated by IE what about iTunes, is it that good.

No - so can we build a better open source solution....

podcasting for dudes

been building a new business around podcasting, what i am still not sure of is podcasting numbers...

How many people are podcasting today and other than music and radio, what are they really listening too.

Is iTunes good enough for podcasting, i don't think so, unless it is re-framed and structured around tagging better. Winamp is not better, but all these tools are hit and miss. What do you use and why, should there be a new client. Maybe too many already.

Would you listen to lectures on-line if you where a student
